Prediction: this war only ends when Trump is out of office. Ending it on terms acceptable to Iran means humiliation on a level Trumpâs narcissism canât tolerate. So, barring 25th Amendment, impeachment & removal, or âthe glorious dayâ, expect several thousand more deaths and oil at $200+ a barrel.

At this point in the long cycle, when the concentration of wealth and power has reached a historical extreme, those at the top always try to overthrow the system to cement their dominance and control for eternity. Same place as 1920s/1930s, 1850s/1860s, late 1700s.

"...it gets harder and harder to tell whatâs us, and whatâs it." And with that line blurring, truths stops to matter. Meaning discussions and politics are no longer about who is right, but about who is stronger. At the end of that road lies fascism.

see? here's the thing. A lot of people are like, the earth is fucked, it's beyond salvation, it's hit the tipping point, but time and time again we see that if we just fucking fixed the problem, it rebounds so incredibly fast. Imagine what could be done if people actually cared

So, if we all pirate a gazillion tv shows, but create opt-out forms somewhere tucked away on our websites for the content owners, it's okay? If I break into a house, it's okay if I create an opt-out form for the owners first, right? Of course not, because _that's not how the law works_ !

Totally agree. As I get into a story I actually start speeding up because the story is on my mind a lot. On the flip side: there are people who can't seem to figure out they don't like writing. If you keep failing at this, maybe think hard if you actually enjoy it.
