I'm seeing some commentary on how the Hungarian election was lost by JD Vance/Donald Trump/MAGA's toxicity etc. But the fact is, the election was lost by Orban, who was Trump before Trump. His messages have run out of steam and the reality that Fidesz created and started believing in crumbled.

94% of votes counted, with a clear 2/3 majority for Magyar's Tisza projected. And not to spoil the mood, but the new parliament will be composed solely of right- to far-right parties. Next to the right-wing Tisza and far-right Fidesz, extreme-right Mi Hazánk also seems to have won 7 seats. #Hungary

Meanwhile these Hungarian neo-Nazis aren't happy at the moment - they (not surprisingly) "do not expect anything good [for them]" from Tisza/Magyar's victory, proclaim that "the battle has just begun" and that there's a need to "purify/cleanse" (tiszatulnia) the Hungarian right of "traitors"

With 30% of the votes processed, Tisza is indeed right on the cusp of a supermajority (133 seats needed). And the results from Budapest and larger cities are usually underrepresented at this point.
