I’m at the point now where the Aaron Boone era Yankees repeatedly fail in the playoffs because of a distinct inability to consistently rise to the level of the stakes in the playoffs. They simply do not elevate their games in the postseason. They have zero killer instinct. Toronto did and they won.

Aaron Boone is one of the worst bullpen managers I’ve ever seen. He constantly gets these decisions wrong.

If you can immediately identify the manager and coaching staff as one of the core problems of a team, the manager and coaching staff probably shouldn’t be a part of that team anymore.

I am very excited for the rest of the Yankees’ season. They addressed their biggest weakness really, really well. They need a healthy Judge and to play cleaner. If they do that, I expect a big run. The roster is excellent now.

I continue to be baffled by the discourse surrounding the Yankees and the deadline. They just gained a game and a half on Toronto in a day. The Blue Jays are playing above their weight IMO. The Yankees have a clear weakness that can be fully addressed at the deadline. Go for it. Rentals included.
