Linux is just so much better than Windows. It took five minutes to install. There’s no time spent deleting slop. It loads fast. All my games work. It took five seconds to download my compy’s graphics driver. There‘s a slop-free version of Solitaire which Windows doesn’t even have anymore. Etc

I was really surprised at how fast and easy it was to install Linux. Cinnamon mint linux took about five minutes to install. I had been trying to install Windows 11 for two years.

I’m also gradually moving things away from gmail. I want to be google free. They’ve become such an abusive company, adding AI to everyon’s gmail accounts, and downloading 4gb of data to your computer if you hit the gemini button they‘ve placed so prominently.
