We deported a US citizen in the last 12 hours. At least, we deported someone for whom a court demanded ICE refrain from deporting until they could establish the credibility of their citizenship. I am not convinced these people care, Bari Weiss and otherwise. This outcome, and lies, is their intent.

Finally got an update on the attempt to open an internment camp in KC. The show up was so bad that CoreCivic has launched a massive ad spend campaign in the area in attempt to shift public opinion. This is basically what Nazism actually looks like wrt private industry. Facebook ads and this shit.

It's one thing to admit a stadium scenario is outdated / not relevant to modern demands and say, "this is no longer working, we need a better solution." It's quite another to say, "we're going to recreate the same scenario on the other side of state line but just make it even more lucrative for us."

This is so the Hunt family can build their fantasized Football City in the legends, a large shopping center that is 30ish minutes out of KC, is not immediately near to any dense construction, and basically exists a commuter hub for nothing but shopping outside of Sporting KC as it currently exists.
