I'm excited to be co-sponsoring this ordinance with Councilors Novick and Morillo, and I'm thankful for Novick's leadership on this. I believe this proposal (raising the 1% tax on mega corporations by 0.33% and cutting taxes for small biz) is absolutely a necessary step for Portland. Here's why:
