Good morning, Womble, I have literally just finished The Undead Complex by Courtney Smyth. The second in a series about an occult-focused detective agency, whose second big case involves murder on a film set. Smyth has a wonderful, warm set of main characters - this is a cracking sequel.

OMG! I just figured out how to mute domains in Bluesky! You need to add / at the end in your mute. For example: domain.com/ will mute every post that contains a link to domain.com, no matter what comes after that bit. Finally. Amazing.

i have such good ideas for sequals to both CAMP DAMSACUS and BURY YOUR GAYS but not enough time in the day. i enjoy writing original new stories from the same world a little better (as readers know all of my horror novels cross over in various ways) so direct sequels unlikely but DANG fun ideas

So I took all of 90 minutes or so to repost this, and it’s already smashed its goal. Which, y’know: fully deserved. ARB is a spearhead of the spec-fic criticism (and therefore, criticism period) renaissance, and its readers obviously value that. So. Let’s get them to their stretch goals, yes? Yes!

ARB are a fantastic source of reviews, podcasts, essays and interesting roundups, so I really hope they absolutely smash their targets here. Am I partisan? Oh sure. But I’d be reading them just as hard if they didn’t foolishly let me write for them too.
