It is 4:30 in the morning and I stayed up to watch the Pokémon World Championships. Absolutely worth it to see all the names of fellow Professors scroll past on the screen, and be happy that people I care about were up there. I might've got emotional when Anna did 💜😭

In 2017, Worlds was just in one hall of the Anaheim Convention Center. This year, the event is huge, taking up multiple halls of the same convention center, and the finals are being held in an arena for the first time. Pokémon has grown so much just in the last few years and it's incredible 🩷

Been watching the Pokémon World Championships, and this seemed the most appropriate outfit for today.

Worlds is amazing. It's overwhelming how huge Pokemon is now. But beyond the hype there are still so many who are really passionate about the series. It's been wonderful playing, mixing records and trading pins with people. It has reminded me that what I love about Pokemon is connecting with people!
