We've been Tia Maria's regulars for a while. Standard order: Maduros Con Frijoles Y Crema, Pupusas Revueltas, and a couple orders of Queso Frito which are really good with their chimichurri. Anyway they and many local favs are basically under siege by the terror state.

Update on the workshops! So, we're calling this a mask-making workshop rather than a paper mache workshop, and we'll be using paper clay during the session rather than torn-up paper and paste. This is an event for beginners to try the basics of mask making, starting with a flat cardboard base.

I use about 3kg of filament a week across two printers running 24/7 - it all just goes out, no sales - whistles use less than 2g of filament, so a 1kg roll of filament becomes about 600 whistles. Consider sending a roll of bright ugly filament (or 4) from my wishlist:

As New Orleans braces for the arrival of ICE, there is a particular stain that comes with hunting Mexicans and Central Americans in that city. These are the same folks who arrived en masse to help rebuild the city after Katrina and have since become a vibrant part of its renewal. Fuck ICE to hell.
