Seeing nostalgia for floppy disks on the timeline, and man, I don't think I trust anyone who wistfully pines for the days of magnetic storage media. Every VCR I ever had mangled tapes with some regularity, and every floppy I ever used was riddled with bad sectors even before they were obsolete.

The two most recent games to impress me with their visuals are Guilty Gear Xrd and Shenmue. Which means that we're due for something in the next couple of years I guess.
