So many people on my timeline are watching Frankenstein, I love it!

Minion never used to be afraid of fireworks but he’s currently sat under my left earlobe. If he got any closer we’d merge into some sort of hideous poodle woman.

I love when the Creature roars it is I think mostly actually obviously Elordi roaring with some work over the top. I recognise his voice from him roaring in Euphoria lol.

Finished my Martha Wells marathon. For me it’s definitely Murderbot, The Rising World, Wheel Of The Infinite, The Emilie Adventures, and then City Of Bones. I still need to get to the Raksura series though (it’s a little expensive).

The fact that Chalamet hasn’t deserved a single one of his Oscar noms yet still seems to think he was snubbed or should be angry because he hasn’t won. You know who should be annoyed? Glenn Close and Angela Bassett. Yet you don’t see them yapping on, do you.

One of the big things I adored about Frankenstein is that the Creature never hurts Elizabeth. Usually in this sort of story, when a woman is trusting and welcoming in any way towards a monster, she is punished BY the monster. The monster seeks revenge thru her or wants to abuse her or possess her.

I’m starting to think maybe some Republicans were not being so arrogant and smug because they were set on rigging everything, but because they actually somehow believed Trump was super popular and this is a new age of everyone loving fascism.

I have tonsillitis, and asked husband for some apple pie filling from the shop tomorrow because I’m craving it and I can’t eat solid food. Only to have him answer that he made some not long ago and it’s in the freezer. Your honour, I love him.
