I am *finally* watching Reflection in a Dead Diamond. It's incredible. I knew it was a spy movie by Cattet & Forzani, but I did not know it was them doing The Prisoner if the Prisoner were an explicit deconstruction of James Bond.

This was very enjoyable. An exciting and funny hostage thriller acting as a very effective satire on governmental failings when faced with a crisis. Hong Kyung and Sul Kyung-gu were brilliant.

The Innocents is a stunningly-shot film. Francis was such a talent. A fine cinematographer from this right through to later collaborations with David Lynch, but also a director in his own right of some really great horror films for both Hammer and Amicus.
