I saw a leaflet explaining that handwashing and isolating will prevent the spread, noting that hand washing is 25% effective against covid and meningitis. Also mentioning the trauma of lockdown but never once mentioning mask wearing.

The covid inquiry stated nearly 3 weeks ago that COVID is airborne. This means that handwashing only is totally inadequate for an airborne virus but where is the messaging. It should have been global front page headlines.

It moved us away from thinking we could prevent disease. It opened the gates to antiscience. We have never recovered because Labour failed to change any of the Tory guidance. They left it all in place, they went along with it.
