I think what fucks me off the most about the business NZ reaction to the uber case is this idea that the legislation and caselaw are outdated because of new technology – technology has not removed the requirement for rights and dignity for workers.

The Government's announced sick day legislation changes strip minimum leave entitlements from part time workers. The changes will take a few years to come into practical effect, and union members with sick leave entitlements stated in Collective Agreements will not be affected. Join your union!
