Tell you what feels like magic? ADHD medication when you’ve been compensating for like 30+ years. What do you mean I could just switch gears between fast/slow parts of a clinical shift, didn’t get frustrated or take things personally, and then did a 7 km run home and could still function at home?

Took me ADHD meds for the first time today and actually felt settled enough to find the motivation to run, which was excellent timing for a storm hitting the UK and it being frankly diabolical weather outside. So I binged watched telly but actually paid attention to it instead. Spose it’s a win.
