Nobody prepared me for Florence + The Machine live. What a performance. What an atmosphere. Absolutely ethereal.

I took two days off (very big of me) because tonight I have Florence + The Machine and tomorrow a matinee show I was invited to. it really put in perspective how badly I need to take off more days for myself to just do nothing. Work has been something else (not bad, I’ve just been overdoing it)

Working near Javits and seeing people come and go to cons always makes me get a little fomo. Then I remember I literally do not enjoy cons and they stress me out 😂

For some reason today, I decided to get to work earlier than my usual early. About 10 minutes later (shortly after 7am) a man shows up with a dog in his arms. It ends up, he found this dog wandering around. Had a harness and jacket on. I took the dog in. What else was i supposed to do, huh?

I feel like I'm going nuts, so i turn to the sane and stable internet to help me: Wasn't there a piece of media years ago that emotionally compromised society for awhile with a thumbs down that didn't really mean thumbs down? What was it? Or am i living a different timeline?

Accidentally taught pup to run to me when I whistle. I use a very specific whistle. It hit me this morning that it's the same whistle tone I used for the cat I rescued when I lived in Arizona over a decade ago so he knew it was me.

While waiting for pup's training class yesterday, the previous class lets out and a dog that used to be a regular at my job comes out. I called out to confirm if that was the dog, and the owner LIT UP and immediately came over. I haven't seen this dog in almost 2 years.
