Watched Hoppers with wife and daughter. Wife slept through a chunk of it. When she awoke: "What happened with the bypass?" "They re-routed through someone else's favourite bit of countryside instead". "How much did that cost the taxpayer?" "They didn't say" "How much did it add to journey times?"

This is now 100 prompts. You don't have to use AI for posters. But if you do, they don't have to look like every other AI poster.

Made a thing. It helps you visualise how enormous AI data centres are. Mind you, so are airports and power stations and reservoirs, and AI coded it for me.

Ozymandias is a perfect poem bc it proves that no matter how powerful and historically significant you are a shitposter can show up and dunk on you so hard that people only remember you as the guy who got dunked on.

They should have been honest and called 'Middlemarch' Coventry and then everyone would have said "lol no, I'm not reading a 900-page book about Coventry" and then nobody would have had to read Middlemarch.

It's at least 16 years since Mitchell & Webb's Apprentice sketch. "The point is that everyone will think that they're the only person to have noticed that the contestants are all idiots. I've got a hunch that for some reason people will think that this never stops being worth commenting upon"

On business trip in the US. Hotel guest dropped dead on the dance floor. Friendly barman put all our drinks on his still open bar tab for the rest of the evening. Doubt the hotel pursued his widow for payment but don't know. No regrets.
