Love the Isleys, and their longevity is indeed insane. This is their peak, imo: bootleg live performance post-3&3, so with extra material to the slightly earlier though still excellent official "live" album:

Good to see the Isleys getting some attention. They've been performing (various combinations of the brothers, but always with Ronald on lead) for more than *seventy years* and are still great.

Kuenssberg's biases always seemed to be towards gossip and personalities and drama, and that made her bad, but Mason's biases are also political, which for someone in his position makes him even worse.

"everyone knows the project won’t work; it is now just a matter of letting MBS down gently" Deep dive on Neom focuses on The Line - a building planned at a scale that would run from London to the Norfolk coast but in the desert. Absolutely wild, absolutely doomed

Of course the lessons he's been told to take from the elections are: 1) it's because of the shutdown, not because of him; 2) voting against him is too easy and should preferably be against the law.

If your takeaway is "be more radically left-wing in an undisciplined way", unless you're also running to be the Mayor of a major metropolis in an off-year election against a candidate with dodgy personal scandals... your take is wrong.

Feel like I'm going insane. Mamdani is charismatic and a good performer, including on social media, but there aren't many more deeper lessons that can be learned from his campaign that can be applied to (a) broader US politics (b) UK politics!

Also notable that the Tories are on 7% with people under-50. In fifth place. And only 4 points above the SNP in sixth (who obviously only stand in Scotland).
