Horrible game. Poor performance. Solid result. You can have regrets about not taking advantage of the 10 men, but at the same time, be impressed that we got back into a game we never properly controlled. Onwards.

Michael Oliver will be in charge of Sunday's North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium. It will be the first Arsenal game he has taken charge of since he incorrectly sent off Myles Lewis-Skelly in the game at Wolves back in January. (1/2)

Whether it's Zohran in NYC, or Zack in the UK, a solid way of telling when a political candidate has the juice is when the right-wing tabloids start tripping over themselves to smear them as a some kind of authoritarian communist.

A lot of talk about Arsenal's next run of fixtures being more favourable. Well, of the four October fixtures we've got coming up, we took 3/12 points last season. This is where we need to improve... Arsenal vs West Ham - 0-1 Fulham vs Arsenal - 1-1 Arsenal vs Palace - 2-2 Arsenal vs Brighton - 1-1

Howard Webb will go on TV & tell you a lie that you can easily disprove with the visual evidence right in front of you. And he does this while contradicting his prior comments about similar situations. If anyone at PGMOL remotely cared about their credibility heād be gone. But they clearly donāt.

ngl I just didnāt see how we could have done more both managerially or squad wise this season & it felt like nothing was going our way with injuries & lack of late winners in recent years. How many late goals do you think weāll need this season?

I think my heartbeat is normal (ish) now. Massive effort to come back and win that game. Merino's value for moments like that is worth acknowledging, and Big Gabi is just a colossus. Made up for that 1st half error to win it. We've been overdue 3 points at their place, and it feels really good!

Generally, Arsenal have played well. Forced Pope into some good saves, hit the post, and I think we should 100% have had a penalty. Two mistakes cost us a goal. Mosquera conceding a corner he shouldn't have, and Gabriel had to be stronger, even to try and make it more difficult for Woltemade.

Good not to lose (and our goal was brilliant) but we threw away 45 minutes, and barely created anything afterwards despite going behind in the 10th minute. I love that we can be pragmatic and dig in - but we donāt have that inevitability gene to kick the door down. A point gives us nothing today.

Wirtz gets booked for a shirt pull and then kicks the ball away when the Everton player goes to pick it up, yet no second yellow. This comes after Szoboszlai (on a yellow already) also kicked the ball away a couple of minutes previously. Why didnāt the ref āhave no choiceā but to send both off?
