Atletico far better in 2nd half than 1st, White a bit unlucky on their pen but they always get given in Europe. They had some chances, but we should have had a penalty, there's contact on Eze and after giving it, I don't think it should be overturned. 1-1 a solid result for 2nd leg though.

That's a really good half from Arsenal, controlled in almost every aspect of our game, and then ahead through the penalty from Gyokeres. Atleti had some moments, but nothing at all sustained. Rice has been superb, Odegaard adds composure, Zubi doing well higher up the pitch. Good stuff so far!

No attempt to play the ball, Gyokeres in the middle of the 18 yard box with just the keeper to beat, am I the only one thinking that was a strong case for a red? Anyway, that’s a really good half from Arsenal and a great way to end it. They’ve done a fine job of taking the sting out of Atletico.
