The Bumble Rumble dahlia is a striking collarette variety with a unique color combination. It's known for attracting pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deep pink outer petals with lighter pink swirls and a white, densely ruffled collar. The inner petals have a soft yellow center.

This is Grecian Foxglove (Digitalis Lanata) it’s native to Europe but is invasive in Minnesota. It may be beautiful but it is highly poisonous and can cause cardiac arrest if ingested.

Another mysterious Lecanora sp. Since the undergrowths have died down, I can get close to the trees to check the lichens. This Lecanora sp. with purple apothecia is seen commonly in the low mountains of the area. Tokikubo, Komoro, Nagano

Got a new phone recently and the cameras on these bad boys only get better. This is fruticose lichen off of a chunk of dead cedar that I found on my worksite.

Quite a rare record for central Exeter: a galinsoga, I think Shaggy soldier but could be Gallant soldier. Great names for an unassuming pavement plant.
