A few picture postcards from our ongoing botanical tour of the Peloponnese in Greece. Our enthusiastic plant finders have found 8 species of Colchicum & 6 Crocuses so far, during days filled with fine flora, food & genuine Greek culture, in this historically rich peninsula.

For those who don't like spiders (see last post) here's something 'cuter'. A delightful Crimson Speckled (Utetheisa pulchella) that I saw yesterday morning. For photographers, this is a fairly big crop from a shot that was taken at 400mm with my trusty Canon 100-400 lens. So, not a macro shot.
