The govt is relying on DARVO as a tactic on a national scale, and it is also increasingly a conservative tactic to attack outspoken critics of their ideas, theories, & renderings of history.

This makes me think of something I saw on here once from a sociologist talking about how her students were arguing that obviously quantitative data is superior to qualitative data, and she told them quantitative data is just qualitative data that someone else has already turned into a number.

During a faculty debate this morning on the topic of using AI to help grade assignments, I pointed out that students should have the right to opt out of having their work uploaded to an LLM (or any external system, like Turnitin). Does anyone know of any cases or laws or policies that support this?
