This is a beautiful story that bursts with love for all beings in their true forms and in their true places.

I love this story. It's got alchemy, monstrous transformations, medieval academia. All my favorite things.

I’m so glad that readers seem to be enjoying the new issue of Kaleidotrope so much!

I think this is one of my best stories, certainly one of my coolest ideas, and warcrimes have not changed that or pushed its release date.

Just as wonderful as it was when I read the early drafts 9 years ago ❤️ And even more relevant today, I think. READ IT.

This is a really good story about the struggle between wanting to save something that might be dying and escaping in order to save yourself.

So this story has been out for something like 8 hours. The idea has existed in one form or another since 2017. And after rereading it this morning, can I tell you what I keep getting verklempt about? One of my favorite Bits that kept me believing in this one, even through a long stint of burnout?
