Taking a break from @guygavrielkay.bsky.social’s excellent new novel, which has interesting things to say about the intersection of art and politics, to work on The First Sock. It’s proceeding apace, but I’m intimidated by both GGK’s narrative artistry and the looming heel turn in this sock.

#crafting Could use some advice! I have 144 granny squares that have to be joined and stitched together. How do you usually tackle a blanket this big? Row by row? Connect it all with stitch markers and find a big table? YouTube tells me how to join the squares but not how to handle so many. Help?
