Slipping a bit of short fiction in before the year ends. I'm delighted to be in Baffling. This is set in the summer but it's about change and estrangement, so a decent fit for NYE.

What a nice way to close out the year. My story “I Think She Is Starting to Suspect Something” is in the latest issue of Baffling. This one is the result of me spending a lot of time thinking about doppelgängers (and probably honestly from playing a lot of anomaly detection games).

Featuring my story “The Only Piece Left,” which is about rare books, dead robots, and what inevitably gets lost via the slow march of time. Also how many jokes I can fit in a thousand words.
