It hasn't mattered much this season, but Christie's TO management has been consistently awful. Even when we're in close games, we still don't have any timeouts to get a good shot off with the game on the line. Mike Brown used to call quick timeouts, but he had some when it mattered.

I'm a little concerned that Nique may be overthinking the catch and shoot 3s. Seems so much more confident off the bounce when he's in the flow. Something to keep an eye on because he may not be good enough on ball where he's going to have the green light to take the step back 3 consistently.

6. Let them play. With the Kings currently sitting at 5-16, it is time to start transitioning to some of the younger players on the roster. Nique Clifford, Max Raynaud, Keon Ellis, Precious Achiuwa and Keegan Murray need as many minutes as possible.

Kings have reached that rule-of-thumb, 20 game mark to "see what they have". We all see it. And it's gross. So change it. If you can't get a trade done yet, then disperse some of the veteran minutes to guys that actually have a shot at being part of your future.

Kings probably have their best defensive lineup in the game with Nique, Keon, Keegan, Precious, and Max and they still can't get a stop against the 3rd string Grizzlies.

Truly remarkable how quickly and definitively the Sacramento Kings fucked up a pretty good thing. This is some of the most miserable basketball I've ever seen. If they're gonna get blown out every night, at least play the young guys.

It seems like a bad thing that the Kings have to blitz Vince Williams Jr because he's been shredding the Kings otherwise. I'm happy to see the adjustment, but the fact that they have to do it is awful.

It's one thing to lose to OKC, it's another to give up 35 to the Grizz without Ja and JJJ. The personnel isn't there to be a good team defensively but there seems to be no scheme night to night other than "let's play zone for a little bit".

Shut the season down and play all the kids

Kings had two straight fast break possessions with numbers and turned it over both times. Effort doesn't matter if you just absolutely screw up the basics.

I think the worst feeling for me about the Kings is the missed little things. 5 v 4 numbers and no look for the open man. 4 v 5 and no one communicates to pick up the ball or rotate on the swing. Someone is open but no one runs at them with a hand up. Just things you wouldn't expect from Vets.
