The Pistons are so good. I keep thinking about what they could do at the deadline and I keep coming back to the same thing: Do they even need to do anything? Can they upgrade a couple of spots? Probably. At the expense of young talent and picks? Not sure it's necessary.

Little thing that I've noticed with Jordan Walsh, and I'm sure old-school coaches everywhere LOVE: He's really good at catching the ball in triple-threat position. That's allowed him to make a move to keep the ball flowing without having to get into position first. Good stuff!

1986 team helped me fall in love with hoops. 2002 team was my connection to home when I moved away. 2008 team was born when I lived in SoCal surrounded by LA fans. 2017 team was so much fun to root for. 2024 team got it done. These Celtics are pushing to join the list of my favorite teams.

Never though the Celtics should or, all that matters, would tank this season. Just not in the makeup of the team as currently put together. I did think somewhere around 5-8 in the conference was where they'd land. Long way to go, but this season is off to an incredible start for Boston.

The Celtics scoring margin is up to +7.2 after tonight's blowout win. That's third in the NBA behind the Thunder (a ridiculous +15.3) and the Rockets (+8.6).

Terrific road trip for the Celtics. Went 4-1 on the trip and finished it with a blowout win over the previously red-hot Clippers. Just 1/2 game behind the Knicks now for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Jaylen Brown has equaled his career-high with 50 points. Unreal game from Brown tonight. Made some killer shots. Seemingly won't get a chance to set a new career-high as he's out of the game with Boston blowing out LA and only three minutes to play.

Jaylen Brown has to be in the MVP conversation. Hard to argue many guys have been more valuable than Brown has this season, given what the Celtics situation has been.

The only reason Jaylen Brown won't set a new career-high in scoring tonight is that he might not need to play much. Brown's career-high is 50 points. He's got 48 with 5:48 to play. But Boston is up by 24 points. Brown still out there. Let's see how it goes!

Jordan Walsh and Luka Garza have combined for seven offensive rebounds off Boston's bench through three quarters. They've gotten the Celtics a bunch of second-chance points.

Everyone is making everything in Celtics-Clippers. The defense isn't even bad. It's just incredible shot-making on display.

Brook Lopez started despite Ivica Zubac being back. He subbed out midway through the first quarter and hasn't come back in. LA running with small-ball lineups with John Collins and Nic Batum up front. Curious to see if Lopez starts the second half or not.

Jaylen Brown is on fire. Derrick White is on fire. John Collins is on fire. Both teams are making just about everything right now. Really high-level offense being played on both sides!

Ivica Zubac has become such a good short-roll passer. With John Collins and Derrick Jones really good finishers living in the dunker spot, that's a huge part of the Clippers offense.
