Stockton Dr is cleared of all snow and ice right down to the asphalt for cars, but hundreds of daily CTA bus riders at this stop have to navigate icy lumps

Time to move bike lane clearance away from CDOT's In-House Construction Team (?) and move it over to Streets & San that has a large pool of drivers and a 24/7 weather action plan.

I took the train this morning. Bike lanes were so bad yesterday that I just didn't want to deal with it again today.

WBEZ just reported that 227 cars were towed overnight for parking in violation of the overnight parking bans. Now do bus and bike lanes.

People want to walk and bike in the winter. Itâs this sort of thing that makes it hard. Imagine trying to push a stroller or using a wheelchair. Yet the road was so clear I saw drivers speeding (feedback boards flashing). Priorities!

We need to start having serious discussions resulting in actionable steps on how we begin to dismantle some of this oversized, unsustainable addiction to highways. We can't afford it, neither in lives lost or revolving costs.

Somehow, a major street with four lanes of traffic going through the middle is a "shopping center". Let's pedestrianize Michigan Ave and cover it, then maybe it would be worth going to for shopping.

I didn't get the chance to post about it earlier but the Logan Square redesign already nearly got me killed and I've only ridden through it once since it got opened to two way traffic. Great job CDoT!

Instead of focusing solely on Medicare covering obesity drugs, maybe the administration should look at getting people out of motor vehicles more often.

Finished my last Win 11 upgrade at work. Did like two dozen machines. Every one except the last went smoothly. The very last one crashed, couldn't recover or rollback. Had to delete the partition and rebuild from scratch. And of course it was my director's laptop.
