As a mostly passenger in cars, how does a technology fix apply to drivers only? What about the kids in the back seat on their phones? Everybody gets screwed because drivers can't follow rules?

The benefits of cars are enjoyed only by drivers. The downsides, on the other hand, affect everyone. With cycling and walking, it’s completely different. Bam.

I hate doing OneDrive support so much. Users cannot be made to understand that syncing the top level cloud drive is a bad fucking idea and they really should just sync the folders they actually use. So now I have to wait for Windows to pretend to delete 400,000 files that aren't even actually there.

We have red light cameras, they’re great at reducing red light running. We have speed cameras, they’re great at reducing speeding. We need blocking the box cameras. There’s no reason to think they wouldn’t be great at reducing blocked box situations.

One driving behavior that I'll never understand or accept: Drivers inching forward at an intersection or parking lot exit as a pedestrian or bike rider approaches. This is not fucking complicated.
