My naming convention for pets is that there are essentially two valid paths, depending on what you want to be shouting when the creature is annoying you at 2AM. a) Austere human name. Such as Archie, Esther, Julius or Roberta. b) A starchy food. Your Muffin, Noodles or Potato.

So many professionals can see how AI is suitable for replacing someone else's job. Meanwhile, their own work requires nuance and experience that machines couldn't possibly replicate. I think every job is more complicated than it appears from the outside. And is worthy of consideration and dignity.

I don't believe it's possible to enforce norms across an entire app like Bluesky (or old Twitter). You have clusters of friends and communities, but posts regularly break containment and reach users who don't understand them.

I've seen Wake Up Dead Man once in theaters, and now once at home and I've decided it's my favorite so far. It's probably the only time I've been sad thinking about future movies in the series because I won't get to see the dynamic of Blanc and Father Jud again. It was just so satisfying!
