People need to remember that animation artists who work in major studios aren’t pitting themselves against each other or gloating of their projects do better than one another. They’re celebrating their achievements, uplifting each other, empowering each other

Game developers don't talk nearly enough about how normalizing long dev cycles has been absolutely ruinous the games industry. We used to do AAA games in 2-3 years on the regular. Now it's "4 years in prepro, 7-10 years in dev." That's a terrible business, if you're not a guaranteed hitmaker.
