I had a fantastic walk and conversation with new Greenways for Nashville Ex Director Meg Morgan just last week. I'm excited and inspired about the passion, experience, and leadership she will bring to that organization. Nashville deserves great greenways, and the future looks promising.

Rode around this weekend documenting public bike racks in East/Donelson. Dan Mills asked BPAC/NDOT and got a huge upgrade after parents started a bike bus. Every other schools’ bike rack was sad. All of this came as no surprise, but needs to be better. (Inglewood, Hermitage, & Dan Mills Elem 📷)

100% true. I know the people, places, and even pets in my neighborhood and along my commute, because at biking speeds you can observe and make little connections. I really like that.

Nashville bicycling experience of the day: nearly getting hit by this speeding driver minutes after dropping off my 4-year-old while trying to navigate around a sidewalk and bikeway closure with no active permit and no safe detour. This is why you don't block bike lanes.
