Our administration doesn’t just stand with workers — we deliver for them. We’ve already secured more than $5 million for delivery workers who were wrongfully deactivated, and we will keep fighting for the fair pay and dignity they deserve.

Some good news: Fatal overdoses fell by nearly 20 percent in Nashville last year. From September through December, there were just 68 suspected overdose deaths, the lowest the death toll has been in a single quarter since at least 2017.

Emergency fare suspension fund is very much a compromise position and really should not be controversial. We’ve been talking about this for years. Let’s do it.

One cool idea would be for every resident to chip in a little bit—we could call the money “taxes”—and then spend it on things like “infrastructure” instead of billionaires who want to build stadiums or move their headquarters.
