Purely from a recreational perspective, I used to road ride thousands of miles per year, but the bad interactions added up. Now I'd rather go to the MTB trail and enjoy my ride without the car anxiety.

Some REALLY heavy rain is happening right now.

Just watched a brand new huge loud-ass truck following a cyclist up the hill in front of my house revving its engine several times and aggressively passing with a blind curve approaching. It he had waited 10 seconds, the cyclist could pull into a right turn lane for a church. GODDAMNIT PEOPLE

Watched this guy whip his truck into the parking spot like he was pulling into pit road for a fill up and tire change. Had to take a pic in case I saw him in the news later running over someone.
