Acquisition news for bottom up and top down proteomics with Thermo acquiring Proteinaceous and MSAID. Proteinaceous was founded in 2016 (possibly earlier) as a spin out from Neil Kelleher’s lab at Northwestern. MSAID was spun out from Mathias Wilhelm and Bernhardt Kuster’s labs in 2019.
