I think the best book I read this year was Tehanu by Ursula K. LeGuin, and I think the book that meant the most to me was Nona the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir.

Last year, my kiddo had a virus that gave him a sore in his mouth, and our pediatrician specifically said to give him popsicles. Not that food needs a reason besides being food, but popsicles can be important in particular!

I was an Engineering major who took a Communication class as a GE requirement, liked it, took a few more, and got a minor in it. I firmly believe that the skills I got from that Communication minor have been just as important to my career as the technical skills from my major.
