This does not have as many of the records as the map, BUT does show how much hotter these #European records were compared to the previous June records. In some cases a 2C which is a huge margin. And you can't blame it on urbanization. Europe cities have been heavily urbanized for years.(IMG source?)

I can confirm June 2026 was warmest June on record in #London (1948-present) with an average temperature of 20C +3.2C on 1991-2020 climo. Mostly a result of high overnight temps, 0.8C above next warmest (2025) but for Tmax it was 4th warmest. We have observed 3 of the 4 warmest Junes since 2023.
