I’m sorry but putting ALL of the blame on Sarah Bond for “This Is An Xbox” marketing/messaging not meeting intended goals even though the strategy was told for pretty much a decade feels like a corporate case of making the minority be the fall guy—an unfortunate strategy I saw in some previous jobs.

I recall people talking so badly about Avowed when it launched like it was trash. Now that it's on PlayStation and I've had a chance to play a good chunk, I'm legit shocked. Games got great lore, world setting, combat, voice acting, exploration. Giving me all FPRPG feels. Like extremely impressed.

I panicked today when I opened my Switch case and couldn't find Breath of the Wild. I'm almost finished with the game. But the thought of having to pay Nintendo twice 😬

After that Verge article basically said "Sarah Bond singlehandedly ruined Xbox and Phil was a real gamer and did nothing wrong" I'm pretty sure that's a hit-piece that exists to make her the villain. I have a desire to relearn how to play The Sims 2.

I like the base building in Starfield and Fallout 4 but I didn't think they were very well done. I didn't really engage with the mechanisms when I tried out Fallout 4 but that's because I found it clunky, which is how I feel about it in Starfield.
