Yeah people actually did something about it, like the Y2K millennium bug, it didn't just happen to go away on it's own. People worked their butts off to divert disaster.

Yeah I predicted that this would happen and why I hated the Coach collab( paid advertising) so much while others were ' but it's free yay!'. NO. It's not good and because no one made a fuss about it, they now see it as THE way forward for Sims4. Basically product placement everywhere in game.

Yeah they also did away with the headphone jack, so you keep losing earbuds and have to buy them again. Also just up and ditch good software ( Windows 10) so they can sell more new computers, and retire phones that work perfectly well ( S8) so you buy new ones with added AI and back doors.

That's ACE ! It really helped them that EA is making such a dogs dinner of their Sims franchise at the moment and the sale to private right wing companies/countries doesn't help it either. They have enough to tie em over to do a lot more work on the game too!

I don't think you can compare these, because the Sims team had experience making an engrossing game before and had to pivot away from multiplayer. Paralives looks to have A LOT of options, but so far not much gameplay that keeps you coming back. Same issue that I have with Inzoi really.
