Now, these two aren't actually "retired" in the game, they're jobless. I didn't like that, so I cheated a LITTLE bit and made Coral a retired Elementary School Teacher (lvl 4 in Education).

I tried getting Coral into sewing. She wasn't interested at all 🙃

Herb loves this damn cat 😅 He rolled a want to get her a job, so Alegra is now a showbiz cat! She's a STAAAAAR, darling! Or, well.. she's an extra for now, but SOON!

Lilith stopped by to play some... mahjong? Is that what they're playing? It's cute either way! And just to be clear, I'm not showing favoritism (even though I want to), I tried to build relationships with all the Pleasants equally, but Angela didn't stop by once 🤷‍♀️

The most exciting thing that happened, was Herb wanting a cat, so the fabulous Alegra gifted us with her royal presence. (I have zero recollection of naming her, so I'll have to assume the game gave this diva her name.)

I've returned to safety in ts2 and it's old people time. Retirement time. Napping at noon time. OLDIE TIIIIME! This rotation update is gonna be relatively brief, cause.. not to be ageist, but these two retired elder-folk aren't up to much.

John got zero screenshot time this rotation, but he is living his stay-at-home-househusband dream, he's great with the kids and he works in his garden whenever he has time. Jennifer is girlbossing in her journalism career while CONTINUOUSLY getting knocked up by John.. man's a menace.

Once again, we're ending off a rotation with a birthday! 🎂🥳 This time Lucy Burb is aging up, she got the grew up well memory and of course I didn't take any pictures of her as a teen, cause I forgot, so you're just gonna have to wait 'til next time she shows up! 😇

John Burb is a family sim and wants 10 children (easy thing to want, when you're not the one carrying them, Johnny 😒) so if we're even gonna TRY to make that happen, Jen and John needs to get moving. Anyway, here's the newest Burb; Olivia!

This is turning into a Lucy appreciation rotation, and I won't apologize for it. This girlie is such a gem, I love her already! Just like any other sim in this game, she wanted a puppy, so the family adopted little Leia 🥰

THIS!! LEMONADE!! STAND!! 🍋😩🤌 It makes me absolutely feral with all the little details and animations, I just sat in x1 speed and watched Lucy serve her lemonade to the neighbors. EVERYTHING IS ANIMATED! She even receives the money in her hand and PUTS IT IN THE PIGGYBANK with a little *clink*! 🥹

I'm not proud to admit this, but I was a full adult when I learned that Jennifer Burb is Daniel Pleasant's sister. As a kid, I never knew the bin families had ties to the actual town, and I don't recall ever really playing them, so this was a nice little first time playthrough of the Burbs for me!

Time for a quick suburban visit! Get it? Burb? The Sims 2 team was funny.

Lastly, I guess Mary-Sue made her final decision to stay in the relationship by autonomously (with help from ACR) woohooing with Daniel after the guests had left 🙄 I was SHOCKED, cause her relationship panel still showed her being angry with him, but alas dysfunctional couples are gonna dysfunc.

We get to end off this first Pleasant family rotation with Daniel's birthday 🥳 I just about managed to scrape together some guests to invite over, and tbh I don't know if this man even deserves a party, but everyone seemed to enjoy it.

I don't know if these two are coded this way, or if this is how the game normally acts and I'm just so used to sims 4's flavourless gameplay, that I have forgotten, but Angela and Lilith are constantly, autonomously at each other's throats.. AND I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!! ☝️😠

Lilith is doing so well in school! She's getting wants to do her homework and she even got a promotion at work and rolled a want to become an Overachiever! I feel so proud of her 🥹

Well, would you look at that... We're still only on Pleasantview's first rotation, and yet here's already the SECOND man begging for forgiveness from his partner. I'm giving these two time to let the betrayal simmer a little and see if Mary-Sue will end up wanting to get a divorce! 💅
