Disabled people are not expendable. The elderly are not expendable. Children are not expendable. Worth should never be tied to economic productivity. If we protected the most vulnerable in society, everyone would be better off.

Remember, masks aren’t just for Covid! They also help protect against colds, flu, measles, RSV and more. They guard against pollution, wild fire smoke and pollen. A well fitted respirator can keep you healthy while also protecting those around you. It’s radical community care.

All I want for Christmas is for everyone who is physically able to wear a well-fitted respirator mask to do so whenever they share indoor air with people outside their household AND outdoors in crowds. But Santa isn't real, so I need you (yes, YOU 🫵) to help me make this happen

Sometimes I imagine what it would have been like had we adapted to Covid instead of giving up. If we had clean air in public spaces. Respirators in healthcare. Free masks for those who need them. Better tests & treatment. Paid time off. We would all be healthier.

So is the anti mask cult. Not everyone can safely get live vaccines, but get them if you can! We *ALL* need to be masking whenever we're indoors and sharing air with people outside our households. Even if it's inconvenient. Even if it's annoying. I promise the alternative is much much worse.

one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Some vaccines like COVID and flu don’t stop completely stop infection. But they do reduce the risk of getting infected and greatly reduce severe illness risk. They are still worth getting. Since they are not 100% effective it’s also wise to add another layer of protection by wearing a mask.

My wokest opinion is that every community deserves an extremely well-funded library that’s open to everyone and that librarians and teachers should make like ten times what they make now.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP. Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP. The people who need help are not the problem. It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
