you would think at the point that federal law enforcement is being used to steal & tamper with election infrastructure that The Democrats as a national political party would start treating things very gravely

When Keystone Kash's FBI raided the Georgia election office, they not only took all the ballots and equipment, they also took the back-up images of the ballots. Taking the back-up images means that they can tamper with the ballots without anyone being able to prove they did it.

So back in June Alex Padilla was tackled and detained by ICE for trying to ask a question at a press conference. The story from the administration was he attacked her. Fast forward 7 months, Maxwell Frost attacked, Ilhan Omar attacked. Not a peep from the media about "turning down the rhetoric". đ

The problem with symbolic compliance isnât just that they fall short of ending violence. Itâs also that people duped by the symbols will switch sides to defend the oppressor, emboldening them to become more violent and violate more civil rights than before.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call âsymbolic compliance.â Thatâs when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.
