This is not today's most important news but THAT IS THE POINT. Anyone who doubts that the Roberts Court deliberately hides their most partisan rulings with careful timing should consider how little reporting there is today on NRSC v. FEC. It gives Republicans a major boost in November's elections.

With this ruling, the birthright issue is not going away. The right hasn't really begun *organizing* around getting rid of the citizenship clause. Like Roe, this will be their fight for a generation. And if the Democrats just say "we won" and ignore it, like Roe, the Republicans will eventually win.

Finally realised why I don't like voice notes. People do them because they find typing tedious -- it takes too long. But because speaking is easier, they say FAR more than they need to, meaning recipient has to listen for ages, mostly to waffle. It's shifting the extra effort onto the receiver.
