Should be mentioned that everybody the US talks to in Iran, no matter what level they’re at or how serious or unserious the talks are, almost immediately gets hit with a missile strike that kills them and everyone they’ve ever known.

It’s impossible to watch any of this and not walk away believing that Trump has absolutely no idea what to do and is terrified about putting troops on the ground but is penned in with no good options and is just stalling for time and hoping something fixes itself. And it just won’t.

So either Trump is covering for a surprise boots on the ground maneuver or he’s just completely destroyed the globalism and the petrodollar system and damned the rest of the world to economic crisis, extortion, and/or bloody operations.
