One of the things stopping us from having a revolution and effectively defeating fascism is that a lot of people who would need to participate and fight unconsciously have been taught to view politics and struggle as entertainment and rely on the "thrill" of society disintegrating for content.

It's not that networks and corporations are afraid of Donald Trump, they're on the same page, the same team. The wealth class that owns our media and our businesses aren't being made to do things against their will, they're willing participants and even directors of ascendant fascism.
