Spain’s marine protected areas (MPAs) are still being decimated by bottom trawling. We took legal action last year but Spain has issued more fishing licenses for bottom trawling inside these MPAs since then. So we’re going back to court with @oceanaeurope.bsky.social to protect these zones.

It's obviously a bad thing if any prisoner is released by mistake, but why is it worse if it's an asylum-seeker? It seems just to be taken for granted now that someone is more dangerous because they're an asylum-seeker than because they're a criminal. Something very dangerous is building here.

A suggestion for UK Parliament. Before passing any new law, consider plausible worst case scenario for how a future Reform government would use it. Then start to review existing laws. And if you don’t, don’t complain when it all goes wrong (assuming that government hasn’t locked you all up)
