4/ The Boothby Wildside project secured £1M in private investment in nature based carbon removals on the basis that Defra would help its establishment. This is the model Landscape Recovery makes possible: public funding unlocking private finance, delivering nature recovery at lower taxpayer cost.

3/ The Waveney and Little Ouse project could sequester carbon equivalent to over 157,000 return flights from London to New York, while simultaneously storing flood water, reducing agricultural pollution and restoring biodiversity. It is still awaiting approval. This is what stalled looks like.

2/ In the Cotswolds, the Evenlode project is bringing together >50 farmers and land managers across a flood-prone landscape to restore habitats and build resilience against extreme rainfall. ~20% of the area sits within a flood zone. This is nature recovery that works for farming communities.
