My favourite thing to do is when I fail at a piece of art is to go and do a watercolour, because it feels like there aren’t as many rules with watercolours. You never get in trouble for going out of the lines. Anyway this was my recovery piece this week.

There’s a whole class of management who have no purpose. Their job is to send emails, shake hands with people, to schmooze and get paid, they don’t offer any value. Using AI for emails means they can be seen to be doing the most whilst doing the least. It’s what they’ve always done.

It’s day two of The Design Conference and it’s really sad to hear everyone bemoan how much they hate social media (by which they actually mean Meta, because they’re talking about FB and insta) and yet in the same breath talk about how it’s necessary.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be happy with this one, I loved the concept but I think I’m not quite where I want to be with execution, but I’m all about transparency and sharing my failures as well as my successes and this one is somewhere in between.

Weird fact of the day: I’m a heavy sweater and I sweat when I get nervous. If i let my nerves get out of control it can spiral into me getting nervous because im sweating and then sweating because im nervous until im sopping 🌀

It’s niche but I’m pretty proud of myself, an app I’ve worked on for longer than I care to admit is finally published on the App Store. Sometimes I spend a whole day with my Vision Pro on & I need something with movement to look at & interact with while I think, that’s what Glimma is for me.
