Do the Reds know Geno is still out there? Sure would like to see him at DH/1B/3B for like 150 games. Wouldn’t complain at all.

I invite any MLB owner to open their books and show the public how much money their teams lost in 2025. They won’t, because it’s a lie. No team has EVER sold for less than it was purchased for. Do not fall for crocodile tears from billionaires who are already getting a Trump tax cut!

It is very funny that this Pope is just going to get jerseys from now on. Everyone decided that's what this Pope likes and that is it. It's like if your grandmother got you a puzzle for Christmas one year and you said you liked it so your entire extended family is like "oh that's the puzzle kid"

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes. The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last. The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes. Why? It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

Just to be clear. I live in KY where we have a Democrat for government who has vetoed every piece of anti-trans legislation he’s gotten and has never thrown trans folks under the bus. Going after marginalized groups to try to win is loser energy.

a lot of people are quoting this and saying things like “standing up for trans rights is a winning political strategy” and while I agree with this, win or lose standing up for trans rights is important - no, vital - because it’s the right thing to do.

Georgia Democrats had not won a statewide race that wasn't for a federal office since 2006. They won two races tonight, both against GOP incumbents. The margins? 62% to 38% in both.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs. Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker. Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps. Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

I just read a student paper that was insightful & distinct but grammatically clumsy (a ton of sentences with coordinating conjunctions). my first thought was, “I can help them with this. no big deal.” grammar matters but if you grade for grammar I think you’re missing the point.

Friendly reminder that Tidal ($10.99) is now cheaper than Spotify ($11.99), delivers better audio quality, pays its artists 2x as much, and generally doesn't allow AI slop. You can move your entire music library over in a matter of minutes.
