Currently reading Greg Rucka and Marco Checchetto’s Punisher and holy shit it’s so good. Love how they depict Frank Castle as a man of few words to the people that meet him and an unholy shadow of death to the criminal element.

The reactions to Spider-Noir, Brand New Day, the Doomsday trailers, X-Men ‘97 and Invincible proves that some superhero stories still have juice. No matter how much some film “fans” want it to happen, the genre isn’t going away.

Not ashamed to say I pulled a “Leo pointing at the TV” moment when I saw them. Uncanny X-Force is just THAT good.

Only three episodes in but X-Men ‘97 Season 2 is leagues above X-Men: Apocalypse lol. Marvel Animation said “we gave Cyclops a glow up, we can do the same for Apocalypse.”

Couldn't be prouder of the five we made, but I had at least two seasons more in me. Wanted to hit up the Delta and Gamma quadrants. One more Vindicta holodeck movie. Meet a weirdly nice leftover Weyoun, more stories with the whales and Kayshon, T'Lyn and Ensign Olly. Lots of stuff.

The First Avenger sold me on the grenade scene alone. It also introduced me to Ed Brubaker’s run, which I’m forever thankful for because those are some dope comics.

Among these discussions about shared universes and growing pains, I've been reminded that Captain America had pretty mixed reviews when it released and I remember it always being quite low in MCU ranking videos back in the day. Which I never understood, because this movie rocks.

Well here’s a fun flashback: in 2018 there was a small con hosting a lot of the Avengers: Infinity War cast, and Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie were there. So technically I’ve been in the same room as Spider-Man and Captain America.
