It's in Highlight Reel this week but a funny workaround several people have found to the bosses sucking in Crimson Desert is to just pick up a tree and beat them to death with it and it works surprisingly well.

Using facial recognition tech, the Knicks surveilled a trans woman, tracking her every move out of fear she'd show up on MSG's tv broadcast And they can do it to any "enemy" of Jim Dolan, who's built his own deep state. From

The Shocking Secrets of Madison Square Garden's Surveillance Machine

And here we get to the "FBI backdoor" dispute. Because FBI is a domestic criminal law enforcement agency, but it is also within the executive branch. With some restrictions, they can go ask NSA to search its databases *explicitly* for a US person.

But now they have a database of a big pile of communications. Not just Person A talking to Person B, but *every* NSA 702 target talking to *anyone* that *any* of those targets have talked to. Even then, the database isn't so bad for privacy. After all, NSA can *still* only search it for FI

And it's *here* that we get to the problem, and the "FBI backdoor" dispute. NSA is interested in Person A. That's the foreign person reasonably believed to be overseas, targeted for foreign intelligence. They're not *allowed* to care about Person B. NSA's job is foreign intelligence.

reasonable is an extremely loaded word that comes from our use as a framework of English Common Law. it usually involves the "reasonable person" test. aka "would Joe Six Pack think this is legal?"

In my latest for Playboy, I wrote about meat, masculinity, and "boy kibble," the trend of men eating a pack of unseasoned ground beef for dinner. I argue it's the perfect meal to illustrate the isolation and nihilism in our ultra-capitalist system

A Man and His Meat
Boy kibble went viral. Here, John Paul Brammer explains why you'll have to pry his dry, loose meat from his cold, dead hands.

I love being a femme dyke. I love looking hot exclusively for the lesbian gaze. I love the masc/femme dance, the parry and thrust. I love being tall and leggy and I love a masc hand on my soft thigh. I love running my long pink nails through a head of dark curls. I love being a femme dyke

Personally don't recommend these. As the article notes, these properties are typically achieved through PFAS, which can shed carcinogens in your home (which you then inhale) or come out in the wash (polluting waterways for decades). Will try to do a thread on how to treat stains in the wash.
